Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she coaches athletes. Annie was the first woman to ever win CrossFit Games on two occasions. In both 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. Her fame stems from her being the first woman to win at the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Also, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie together with her the rest of her family, was raised in Reykjavik Iceland. In her early years she was an avid enthusiast of fitness and sports. She participated in many school activities and won a number of medals. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old of age (as at 2021). She's 5'7" tall, and weighs about 67 kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California in 2009. She performed well during the first few competitions. Annie was ranked among in the top 10 among over 70. She did not take home an award and ended the tournament in 11th place. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. With the guidance of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. Following that she was a participant in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. She became the first woman to ever take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female to win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. Silver medals were awarded in the year 2014 and then in 2021, she was awarded the Bronze award at CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach as well as a trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she founded. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face for many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration as well as Sidekick Yerbae.
